Glazier – Rope Access 

Location: Vancouver, BC

Schedule: Monday to Friday (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) plus overtime as required

We currently have openings for experienced rope-access glaziers to work on commercial glass installations and service projects across the Greater Vancouver Area.

Qualifications 

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Journeyman Glazier
  • Rope access experience (hourly bonus for service)
  • Ability to work at heights
  • Ability to lift heavy glass (100+ lbs)
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings an asset
  • Boson Drop, WHMIS, and/or Fall Protection certification an asset

Essential Duties 

  • Communicate with lead glaziers, co-workers, and supervisors
  • Set up and operate equipment such as scaffolding and lifts
  • Load and unload glass and materials
  • Install a variety of glass systems and doors
  • Inspect installations for quality control
  • Follow all site safety and installation requirements

Work Environment

Outdoor work in all temperatures and safety-sensitive environments. The role involves physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting, standing, bending, and working at heights. All required PPE must be used according to site safety regulations.

Glass Scheduler / Estimator

Location: Vancouver, BC

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Scheduler and Estimator to join our team. This role involves estimating glass jobs, scheduling work with customers, and dispatching glaziers to ensure efficient jobsite operations.

This position requires strong customer service skills, proficiency in English, the ability to provide customers with estimates, scheduling experience, organization, time management, accurate data entry skills, and effective communication with both customers and glazing technicians. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of glass, hardware, and glazing.

Duties 

  • Estimating jobs using company pricing standards
  • Organizing and scheduling jobs with customers
  • Dispatching glaziers
  • Collaborating with project managers and confirming parts delivery prior to scheduling
  • Other administrative, customer service, and support duties as needed

Experience 

  • Prior customer service background considered an asset
  • Preference for scheduling/dispatch and estimating experience
  • Familiarity with PC, Microsoft Office, and other software programs
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to type efficiently while multitasking in a fast-paced environment
